Services

Our services include everything today’s artists could need for the production of exhibitions and all supporting materials such as books, catalogues and websites.

  • Archival Fine Art Printing
We specialise not only in super quality printing with extremely accurate colour and tone but also ensure that all prints are made using only lightfast inks and PH neutral papers of the highest integrity from Canson, Hahnemuhle & others.

  • Scanning: Film & Artwork
Make sure your original artworks and films are scanned once and scanned right. We scan for archive every time so you can be sure that your digital files are covered for all possible uses in the future. Colour accuracy and cleanliness as standard.

  • Digital Post-Production: Photoshop etc
Photoshop is the industry standard and for good reason. We believe that only a good master digital master begets a good print or in other words your print is only as good as the file you throw at it! This is an area in which we truly excel and you will be hard pressed to find other print studios with the same level experience and skill. If you are an artist or photographer with a body of work that needs polishing up before printing then talk to us. We over 15 have years of experience pre-producing bodies of work for exhibition or book.

  • Exhibition Consultancy

  • Complete range of Framing & Mounting services
We partner with Artisan Frames to bring you the highest standards of framing and mounting in Ireland.

Canson Certified Print LAb

Exhibit A was the first and remains the only print lab certified by Canson in Ireland. We underwent an oral examination regarding technical best practice and a physical inspection of our studio was conducted by a representative from Canson head office in France.

“Canson Infinity’s Certified Print Lab programme, is a collection of best-in-class Print Labs from all around the world, that have met the stringent technical criteria set by our Technical Team. The Print Labs are selected because they have demonstrated that they have the technical capability and expertise to produce Canson Infinity Fine art prints to the very highest standards.”

Hahnemuhle Certified Studio

Exhibit A has had a long relationship with Hahnemuehle having used their papers from day one. We have regular visits from head office in the UK.

“A Certified Studio has been accredited by one of our technicians after a training session and assessment has been completed. Among many criteria, the studio must have an advanced education level regarding archivability/longevity of their prints, with full competence in fine art inkjet printing workflow. They must fully implement the Colour Management workflow.

Instructional orientation is conducted during an on-site visit by one of our technicians. The objective is to increase efficient printing workflow, accurate colour management, and correct print handling practices that will assure consistent high-quality output.”

Testimonials

It was a timely meeting back in the summer of 2007, I found Dominic, a scrupulously honest person, to look after my work. Thanks again Dominic.
— John Minihan, Photographer
Dominic, and Exhibit A, is an essential and highly valued arm of my work and business as an artist. The process of making botanical art is painstaking and exact. Having worked with Dominic and Exhibit A for many years now, I appreciate the same attention to detail and precision in the digitisation and archive quality printing of my paintings. Dominic ensures that the nuances of the layers of colour in my paintings are accurately and sensitively represented in the archival prints. Thanks to my collaboration with Exhibit A, the archival prints of my paintings help to bring my work to an appreciative audience in Ireland and internationally.
— Mary Dillon, Botanical Artist
Working with Dominic over so many years has made printing one of my favorite part of image-making. His studio was put together with true first-hand knowledge of machines, inks and paper, fueled by his generous passion for images, to translate through printing what each artist is bringing in. I’ve learned a lot from printing there (over numerous cups of coffee, and a tasteful selection of music).
— Aurélien Froment - Artist
Dominic Turner and Exhibit A Studios have been providing the Library at University College Cork (UCC Library) with exemplary support, advice and professional reproduction services for our photographic collections for a number of years, including projects working with photographers John Minihan, Alen MacWeeney, Amelia Stein, Judith Aronson and Andy Summers. Our partners frequently comment that Dominic’s work is of the highest standard. Dominic and Exhibit A enhance very significantly our ability and capacity to deliver photographic projects of the highest quality.
— Crónán Ó Doibhlin, Head of Research Collections, UCC Library, University College Cork
I’ve been making prints with Exhibit A for several years now and the results always exceed my expectations. Dominic takes great pains to get exactly what I want. He will stop at nothing to get the colour, texture – all the qualities I want in my photographs. He is meticulous and sensitive to your needs, with the result you get prints that are alive and have real presence.
